Onaqui Rescue

All three of these horses were saved from a Bureau of Land Management slaughter auction. They have since adjusted to life at Freedom Reigns and have joined Shadow’s herd!  The youngest mare has become Shadow’s main mare, and they can always been found grazing together and grooming one another.

The older gentled BLM mare that was rescued,  was pregnant to our surprise and gave birth to a beautiful bay little filly named “Hope”.  They both spend their days out in the big pasture with their new family. “Hope” went through our gentling process, is very friendly and is always the first from her herd to come running up to greet you!
